Floating units are suitable for the precipitation/ flocking of loaded waste water portions applying liquid separating agents. Types for processing quantities of 800 up to 2,500 l/h are offered on a serial-production basis.

Depending on the case you may choose between a passage or charge process while during continuous operation even parallel circuits for waste water amounts of up to 10,000 l/h are possible.

Application field

  • Car dealers with parts cleaning
  • Colour effluents from paint brush cleaning
  • Effluents from boat washing
  • Container washing plants
  • Cream and skin care products manufacture

Function

Normally, the effluents are running through a pretreatment plant consisting of a sedimentation pool and a separator. The emulsions are fed to the processing plant from a subsequent reservoir by means of a submersible pump.

During filling of the plant predetermined solid or liquid separating and flocculating agents are added and mixed in a homogenous process. Here separation of emulsions takes place and the pollutants are bound in a flock.

At the same time the pH-value is controlled and corrected by adding base or acid if necessary.

Phase separation takes place in the flotation reactor by forcing up the noxious matters to the surface by means of finest air bubbles.

Due to the uplift of the water level the flocks decant into a moveable sludge thickener for drainage. The conditioned water flows through the system and can optionally be controlled for its pH-value by means of a final pH-check in the outlet as well as be registered on a recorder.
