Sedimentation plants are suited for the processing of highly contaminated waste water by means of extensively dissolved agents. They are being adsorbed and precipitated by means of specific split chemicals. Types for processing quantities of 300 to 1,000 l/h are offered on a serial-production basis.

The plants can optionally be equipped with a pH-end control by means of which the processed effluents can be conditioned accordingly. Upon request, these plants can also be equipped multi-step.

  • Car dealers with parts cleaning
  • Colour effluents from paint brush cleaning
  • Effluents from boat washing
  • Container washing plants
  • Cream and skin care products manufacture
  • Effluents loaded with heavy metals

Function

Normally, the effluents are running through a pretreatment plant consisting of a sedimentation pool and a separator. The emulsions are fed to the processing plant from a subsequent reservoir by means of a submersible pump.

After filling of the plant predetermined solid or liquid separating and flocculating agents are added and homogenized. Here a separation of emulsions takes place and the pollutants are bound in a flock. If necessary the pH-value is controlled and corrected by adding base or acid.

In the sedimentation reactor the phase separation is effected by deposited flocks thus forming a clear water zone.

By means of an appropriate valve control and switching elements the clear water phase is detracted and the resulting sludge is pumped via a band filter. The band filter conveys the initially drained sludge into the draining container for sake of subsequent drainage. The filtered water is released into the sewage water system.

Integrated supervision organs report errors or faults for all process-related parameters. The reports are shown acoustically and optically by means of info display on the control cabinet. Variably adjustable treatment times as well as a continuous addition of chemicals allow an optimum adjustment of the plant with smallest use of chemicals.
